L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Range | Review

October 10, 2016

I find it super hard to find a shampoo and conditioner that works for me, I have extremely oily hair so if I use the wrong products my hair can look greasy right after washing it. When I saw that L'oreal where introducing a new range of hair care products that was targeted for oily roots and dry hair, I needed to jump on that band wagon straight away. So down to Superdrug to pick myself up a bottle of shampoo and conditioner and I was super surprised to see for both of the large bottles it came under €8. I started to think this is too cheap for a new product even a new range so I kinda was a bit hesitant on them. So the next morning came and surprise surprise I needed to wash my hair. I tend to put conditioner in the ends of my hair first before shampoo because I found when I did it the other way around It was leaving traces of conditioner in my hair which made it oily faster.  So I washed my hair as normal, dried and styled as normal and to my surprise by the end of the night it looked great and I could definitely get a second day out of this. Since then I wash my hair every other day and it looks fine, now I could never get three days out of my hair unless I drowned my hair in dry shampoo!
Overall I didn't have high hopes for this range I've found with other L'oreal ranges in the past they don't live up to the hype but this one has exceeded expectations.
After the first use I was so amazed by how great it worked I looked into a bit more and learnt that the clay used in the shampoo is meant to dry up the oil in the roots and leave your hair feeling clean and oil free.

I can't praise this range enough, If you have tired any other products in the range comment down below I would love to know what you thought?
