Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick | Review

During the Christmas season a bold lip is always my first choice and last year I decided to treat myself and buy a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. But not any shade only the one lipstick that seemed to keep popping up in every video I was watching on YouTube and that's from your Matt Revolution Collection in the shade Glastonberry. Now I will admit it did hurt paying €30 for a lipstick but I was willing to just for the amazing packaging alone. Like how can you not lust over that rose gold packaging because I think its too die for. Now for the actual colour, its dark purple shade but not so dark that you cant see the purple tones come though. I love this colour because it really just goes with my skin tone perfectly seeing as I am so pale the colour just pops. The formula is not dying even though it is a matt lipstick, to be honest I don't feel it drys completely matt which is a tad but of a downer, I also find the lasting period is actually not that great. I find myself reapplying a few times though out the day especially after I've eaten or had anything to drink. One thing I did love is the way the bullet is shaped and its made to make it easier for you to apply it to your lips....genius idea I think! If I'm being super honest I way prefer a matt liquid lipstick formal just because I don't have to keep applying it and also it stays completely matt on my lips at all times.

All and all I do really enjoy this lipstick, I felt I needed to have one of Charlottes lipsticks in my collection and I have no regrets on doing so.
